What each store is charging
The Steam list price is $19.99 USD, and the first two weeks after launch are $12.99 USD. In Japan the price is ¥1,690, down from ¥2,600, a 35 percent discount. That yen pair is the Japan price for the same window, not a second US sale.
The Switch edition is $19.99 in the United States. Xbox Series X|S is $19.99. Neither includes the Steam launch discount. PlayStation 5 joined Steam, Xbox, Switch, and Game Pass on 15 October 2026. The PlayStation price has not been announced.
Game Pass is day one on Xbox and on Windows PC. It is access through the subscription, not a separate box price. The day-one list is Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Game Pass on Xbox and Windows PC. The first two weeks on Steam cut $7.00 off the $19.99 list. After that window the Steam price returns to $19.99, while Switch and Xbox stay at $19.99 the whole time.
Minimums before you buy on PC
Windows minimum is 64-bit Windows 10, Core i5-5257U or Ryzen 3 1200, 8 GB RAM, and GTX 1050 or RX 460. Mac minimum is macOS 11, Apple M1 or Intel i7-8850H, 8 GB RAM, and Apple M1 or Radeon Pro 560X. Both lines are minimums. No recommended tier above them has been announced.
Windows and Mac can run the game. Linux cannot. Steam Deck compatibility has not been rated. A standard gamepad is recommended, and same-screen co-op requires one. Shared screen and split screen both count as couch play, still inside the four-player cap. Steam Cloud keeps the save. Cross-play and the rest of the party rules are on Chains.
Rating, blood, and support
Combat leaves visible blood sprays in the arena. The UK rating is PEGI 16 for strong violence. Use that rating when you decide whether the game stays in a shared living room. The genre is Action, and the game is paid.
The support address is support@featherweightgames.com. That mailbox belongs to Featherweight Games. Builds from before 1.0, including the Carthage demo that left at launch, are on Demo.
Buy from a store in the table. Steam’s two-week price is the discount window, then the list price returns. Nintendo US and Xbox stay at $19.99 with no matching cut. PlayStation 5 is on the day-one list beside them. A shared couch still needs one gamepad even when the PC or Mac meets the processor, memory, and graphics lines above.
